Asked to share: I wanted to let you know about our Project Officer Survival program where we offer FREE 1 day law enforcement red dot pistol training with the support of our industry partners. Training will be at the Tuscaloosa Sheriff's Office Training Center either Aug 26 or Aug 27th. We will provide the Walther Performance Duty Pistol (PDP), topped with an Aimpoint ACRO enclosed red dot sight, coming out of a Safariland level III retention holster for the training course. By providing the equipment, this removes any training barriers for those departments who have not switched to a red dot pistol platform. Each officer will also receive a copy of The Firearms Training Notebook to record their shooting performance data during the course. This invaluable tool will help them to build both a live and dry fire training program when they return home. Officers do not need to be red dot transitioned. Officers need to provide 400 rounds of 9mm ammo for the course. Here are the links to register. Housing is available on site if needed.
