I've been struggling a bit lately. I've been playing pretty consistently for a little over two years now and seems like I'm struggling to improve and score better. Some days I can drive okay, some days I can't. Sometimes I'm hitting my irons well, and sometimes I'm not. It seems like if I get a good tee shot, I'm going to screw up my approach shot. Sometimes I'll have a terrible drive and then make some miraculous iron shot. Today I went out with some buddies. I shot a 52 on the front nine. Nothing seemed to be working. I told them I was going to turn it around on the back nine. I ended up shooting a 39 on the back. Such a frustrating game...just had to vent, because my wife won't want to listen to it when I get home

I always get pissed at high school kids when they have a bad front 9 and then don't want to play the back 9. Anything can happen. Maybe you figure it out and it carries over to the rest of the swings for the rest of your life. "As you walk down the fairway of life you must smell the roses, for you only get to play one round" |
