Is there a baseline for visually identifying other players in game? What I mean is, when you see somebody running around and its a player, does their handle show? Their rank? Or just nothing, and you have to infer whether they're a player based on actions. I haven't played many. A few. In some, I see player name above the character, another, nothing. Recognizing they're not all the same, is there one method that's common? |
History indicates that Conservative Americans only have three speeds: silence, peaceful protest rallies, and Total Industrialized Warfare. They excel at the latter.

Trying to decide whether the players will have visible handles, handles accessible through the UI, or just running around. The only MMO I've been playing recently is Star Citizen, and in that game, you don't see nothin'! Of course, this is Star Citizen, and not the best metric for MMOs, given its legion of issues. |
