Kpel308 has been a very long time member and Mod here.. Due to circumstances beyond his control he needs our help. My current SITREP: I was working contract security at Balad Air Base, Iraq, until our firm laid off all Americans 3 years ago. I have been actively looking for security work which has proven difficult. I have managed to survive on my savings, but they are unfortunately running out. I have a potential job opportunity with an NGO, but it will require me to travel for training. I never imagined I would be in this position, but here I am. Any donation will help me greatly. I have known Kpel308 since we were at camp Bondsteal together in Kosovo, Darn, 20 years ago now. Other than questionable taste in drop zones and a continuing weakness for Filipino women, he’s a standup guy. I’ve tried to help him find work around, but paying overseas security gigs for Americans have pretty much dried up from what they were. I suppose most of you reading this don’t know me either, but the North Carolina hometown guys will remember me from when we had the shoots before they shut the range down. Just know if you can throw in some help, it’ll actually go to food and shelter and I’m sure he will be gladly take any leads on gainful employment NOI |

I was there when they implemented it, but a LOT of americans got waivers. I left there in 22, so I dunno what happened to all the old fuckers. Best of luck man. |

I had been doing consulting with G4S and other firms in SE Asia after Kosovo, and have been digging around for similar gigs. The NGO position I mentioned earlier is right up my alley, but isn't guaranteed. I will say that I am sick and tired of Indian HR scams.
