[ARCHIVED THREAD] - 76th Board Seat at NRAAM (Page 1 of 4)

After much discussion with close friends I've decided I'll attempt to pursue the one year term again. I felt that I'd be doing all of you a disservice if I didn't at least try. That said, I need YOUR help. Even if you aren't going to the annual meeting, but know people who are, you can help! ANYONE who was an NRA Member prior to March 15, 2018 can vote for this seat. Voting is located outside Exhibit Hall A. Hours are Thursday from 2 PM to 6 PM, Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM and Saturday 8 AM to 4 PM. Last year I lost by a mere 60 votes. So how can you help? First, take a moment to go vote. Bring everyone you can with you. If you're able to volunteer a little time (it's your trip to Dallas and your Annual Meeting Experience so I'll take whatever you can give me), I'll need help passing out campaign literature and driving people to the polling station. Shoot me a PM in you're interested. Last year @burley, @C4H10FO2P, and @miami_JBT donated some of their time to hand out literature on my behalf. If you're not able to attend but know those who are, ask that they go vote. I appreciate all the support you here at ARFOM have given me over the past two years. It really does mean a lot that total strangers would support me in the manner in which you guys have. |

For any of you taking up the cause, you'll encounter a great deal of ignorance. Far too many attendees are ignorant of the board, never mind the 76th member or the election. Just remember that ALL members can vote this weekend. I wonder who the establishment will be supporting this year? Felt weird to be surrounded by suits last year.

Are you allowed to collect monetary contributions to offset your costs? If so, PM me with the info on where to send a check. Maybe if you get enough $$$ you can get some swag from Halo.com or something with your name to give out. ETA - Probably don't have enough time for more swag.
