It was also my last (really) long run before The Woodland's Marathon on 3/5. That is a fast course and pretty flat overall. I'm at a point where I'm certain I can finish. But, I really would like about 2 more weeks of long runs to be comfortable and certain that I'll do better than the run in 2020 (my first and only other full marathon). |

AcidGambit, I’ve always wanted to milk a lactating chick... Like make her get on her knees, milk her tits, and make her moooo.

When running that far, there's so many opportunities for things to go wrong. Just finishing is definitely an accomplishment. |

Concurring. That is pretty awesome! Thanks! Definitely will need more prep if I do another one. I won my (narrow) age group, but was beaten handily by people from the brackets just below and above me. Still feeling really sore. Think I’m going to focus on shorter, faster trail races and maybe a road marathon this year. |

Well this winter has been cold but I keep plugging away. It started out a balmy 40 degrees and the temperature plunged as the wind picked up, froze my fingers in my thin gloves and hoody. 3.6 / 192.6 640 consecutive days. I did get my 4th pair of new shoes yesterday, trying Asics this time. Brooks Ghost 9 Brooks Ghost 10 New Balance Fresh Foam 880v11* (trash) Brooks Ghost 12 ASICS Gel-Nimbus 23 *Not only was the arch support terrible, but I got less than 200 miles on these before the soles were worn out. I have typically been getting about 800 miles out of the Ghosts. |
