The snow is finally gone and the weather is nice, brought the KLR and the wife's XT250 out of hibernation yesterday, just in time for me to have to leave town for a two week job this afternoon.

  Next target: A road sign (directional, advertising, exit), mile marker, or something posted that has "87" in it. It doesn't have to be 87 exactly, just has to contain "87". For example: 23879 Main St. or Exit 87a |

Was hard to get some parts of it because there was nowhere to pull over. Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File I was going to make the target a sign that could be the subject of a dirty joke ( for example i passed a "mound creek," or "big branch," something like that), but I saw someone earlier posted a sign from Big Bone Lick, and it just doesn't get any better than that New target: a tiny, small town government building, such as a really small post office, city hall, etc. Something like this: Attached File |

I had a '79 for years in my 20s, same color until I laid it down from a wheelie and had to have it painted. Great bike! Sold it to a friend when I moved away for a while and his garage burned with the bike in it.

I've heard they have a big dinosaur statue inside, but the Creation Police wouldn't let me ride my bike inside. They were actually really nice, but they told me the big dinosaur statue is at the tour bus entrance and wouldn't let me ride my bike in that way because of that.
