We had 18 on our polar bear ride. Started about 35 degrees. Warmed up to almost 40.

I need to change my oil before I take the 1190r out.   It was due before I busted my clavicle and my gallon just showed up today.

Can't take the clavicle buster ( supermoto ) out till I go down to DMV and get a new plate,   Tow company lost it.

How do they manage to do that??
It almost seems like the tow company has someone with a similar bike that they wanted stick your plate on without paying for it..
Are you getting the plate replaced or getting a whole new one
Link Posted: 1/5/2021 1:16:40 PM EDT
[#8]
You have to get a whole new plate with a new number.

I suspect they broke the plate off dragging my bike back up the hill.   I went there a week later and walked the whole area and then some,  plate nowhere to be found.

4 months and a day since I've been on a bike,   was really nice today,  almost hit 70.

It's tradition to not hit the target at the beginning of the year so here is my bike on a different bridge than last years.

Been unusually warm here this year. I've put a few hundred miles on mine since I got it after Thanksgiving. Put about 60 mi. on it today. When the shadows start at sundown, it gets a bit cold. I have no heated gear.

Okay, it's been over two weeks. New target.

Your bike and a fire Hydrant

How about your bike snowed in and stuck in the garage for weeks?
Link Posted: 2/13/2021 12:38:50 PM EDT
[#19]
I think my garage door may be frozen shut... we had 1.5" of snow, then, 1" of freezing rain.
Trees down all over, lots of power loss.
Wife and I hunkered in....

Two-fer today to get caught up. I was looking for a crossing and a fire hydrant in the same frame but didn’t find it.

Next up: your bike and a competitive motor sports facility (drag strip, race track, mx track, etc). Extra five points awarded if there is a race underway.

I just saw this today. I could probably get a good angle of the bike in the garage, with the fire hydrant half buried in the snow across the street!

There IS a Percheron in there.

How about your bike with a snowplow?  There MUST be snow in the frame.

3-day rule - let's remove the "snow" and keep the plow.  Your bike and a piece of towed field equipment: plow, disk, cultivator, ...

So I just take a picture of my bike in a challenge, then I get to come up with something ?

Are there rules for the picture challenge when I pick something ?

You post a pic of your bike with the target, then pick a new target. The new target should be relatively available to people of multiple staters to keep it moving, after three days if no body has gotten it, you change the target to keep it moving.

Probably going to ride tomorrow. So unless I see a new target by lunchish, I should be able to hunt up a piece ag equipment. It is spring in MS.

Dammit, i hate you people.
I can't get the bike out of the shed because the doors are still frozen in snow/ice.

Where in Mass has 75 pop.?

Richmond? Truro? (in case you other people didn't understand- that was the westest most town, to the eastest most)

If no one gets it today I'll raise it to 150. I never would have guessed - I rode through a town of 47 to get the pic. It was harder than I thought to find a disc.

should have taken a better pic of that amazing articulating tracked tractor:

Finally able to take the bike out last week...1st day it was warm enough (above freezing) to ride...got all the way to the back gate to post and saw the salt trucks out and about.

There was still black ice on the roads on post. You ever ride a 900+lb motorcycle on black ice? It's pretty entertaining, let me tell you.

We had nice weather, highs in the low 60s, for a week, then we got more snow and freezing temps. Now it is above 50 degrees, but raining all week.

Fucking spring in Germany, I swear...

Fellas, We have to get off this town thing. most around me don't even post populations.
