Trying to help my Brother In Law with his POS since he's poor AF. 2005 Dodge Dakota 4.7. I know it has an exhaust leak up front from cracked manifolds or manifold bolts. But this thing has absolutely no power. It couldn't even pull it's self up on the ramps to work on it. I figured the cats were plugged. Nope, pulled them off and someone has already gutted them. Could a exhaust leak at the manifold cause this? Maybe the muffler is plugged up. Hive thoughts

I took the exhaust manifolds off this weekend. There was no gasket on the passenger-side at all. On the drivers side there were bolts missing and in a couple of instances coarse thread bolts rammed in there. In other words this thing has been sucking in tone of O2 past the O2 sensors. I think it has no power because it is running max rich do to a hideous false lean reading. O2's are black. Who ever had this thing was a complete idiot. Just wish I could convince my Brother in law that fixing this thing is throwing good money at bad...
