Went somewhere to buy a K5 and spied this unit. It’s a 1995 Bronco, as some sort of a fleet vehicle. Looks like it had a snow plow. Came from Oklahoma. She’s got some rust but nothing really that scares me. I think I can get it back on the road and keep it under a $3500 ride. As I found it, the flat tires made it a real bitch to get it on/off the trailer. Attached File After getting it off the trailer. I didn’t damage the rear door but it looks like that’s going be a tough fix but we are moving on with it. Attached File Had to get the door down so I could cut a hole for the fuel pump replacement. That took about 1.5-2 hours Attached File Fuel pump swapped and used some starting fluid to get her going. Turns out a backfire is the air boxes cryptonite when it’s full of starting fluid. ![]() Attached File |

New tires from a small shitbox shop in the Fort Worth ghetto. A set of 31-10.5-15’s mounted/balanced, with new valve stems for $450 was a deal for this gem. Attached File Needs brakes! After getting the tires on rolled down my driveway. Almost took out the fence across the street because I got cocky. Turns out the front brake lines have holes in them. Ordered a set to see if we can fix her. It runs real good, only shows 147k miles on the clock. Looks to have been used as a plow truck. I need to get back to my crew cab shortbed k30 build but I have a short attention span. ![]() 1995 Ford Bronco revival first look- OJ Special |

| Loved that body style. Badass. My cousin had a green/tan Eddie Bauer. Good luck. |
Posterity! You will never know, how much it cost the present Generation, to preserve your Freedom! I hope you will make a good Use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in Heaven, that I ever took half the Pains to preserve it.---John Adams

Had to sell it for something more friendly back then. Be real careful with starting fluid in these 90s fords. Thats how I scored such a sweet deal on a 4R70W transmission. Some guy did the exact same thing as you. Tried to get it running. Starting fluid. Boom back into the plastic intake. Engine fire. His work van ended up in the scrap heap. But he left me a really pristine transmission for my classic mustang. ![]() I think in 95, you'd still be looking at the AODE, though. If you do decide to tear into the transmission, the 4R70W guts swap into the AODE case. Looks like you got the roller 5.0, OBD1 setup? I loves me some OBS fords. I've got the pickup version of your truck, but in 96, so the newer transmission and OBD2. I've got my eye out for a bronco like that, but with less rust. Sounds like yours is running on 6 cylinders. |
Spent some time fixing he brakes today to open the box of “front brake lines” and discover summit’s description is wrong. Either way it looks like she needs new lines front to back. Since putting brake fluid in it I have discovered like 4-5 leaks. Moving back to my K30 project for now. ![]() She runs and drives decent though. Doesn’t stop for shit! Luckily the emergency brake works great. ![]() 1995 Ford Bronco Revival- OJ Special failure. |

She’s crusty and rusty, it’s in a position that a wire wheeling or blasting on the frame should slow it down with a solid treatment of blasting, treating, and coating. A little floorpan work and some rocker work it should be good. My goal is only to slow/stop the rust and enjoy it. I pulled my crew project apart to work the rust and it’s been a shitshow getting it back to drivable condition. |

E4OD and BW1356. 5.0 should be a roller at that point, OBDII ended up on some of the later build ‘95 Fed trucks and I think all of the Cali spec ones, it’s been a while since I’ve reviewed that info. Depending on what you mean about the lines, 4WABS soft brake lines are different than the older rear only ABS that a lot of 90’s ford stuff defaults to, so that could be the variation issue. Stick shift t-case is desirable. Depending on how high the mileage, the oil pump lever arm in the t-case can wear through the aluminum pad inside and spin, lunching the case due to oil starvation. Also would look at inspecting and possibly servicing the double cardan joint at the front of the rear shaft. Service the front diff since it’s likely never been done, use an oil vac since there’s no drain. Front stub shaft u joints are likely very stiff or frozen too. Auto hubs have already been replaced, so that’s good. I’m sure I’ll think of some more stuff. Overall truck looks pretty fair, rust above the rear wheels and in the tailgate is common. |

Here's my aunt picking up one of her broncos. After her first kid, that's all she drove. She probably bought 4 or 5 new. She bought another before she needed one the year they stopped making them. My uncle kept trying to get her something else but she wouldn't let it go Attached File |
I've been told I have an abrasive personality.

Came here to see "rust bucket". Saw OP was from TX. Left disappointed. This was when my bronco was still in good shape. ![]() |

Very nice Dopple Progress is back on track now that the ise has melted a bit and it’s nice out. I need to get back to my crew cab but this thing is pretty close to being road legal. New brake lines showed up, box looks like FedEx used it to get out of a ditch but on we go. Attached File Had to use a grinder to get the old rubber lines on the front out of the frame and my fire watch is slacking. Attached File Trying to figure out what panels I need, pretty sure I need the floor extension, inner/outer rocker so far. I think the parts cannot will get launched at that maybe down the line. ![]() Front brakes almost done, damn puppy seems to have run off with my couplings. ![]() Failed To Load Title |
