(WTAJ) — Researchers said they spoke with an eyewitness who claimed to have seen Bigfoot crossing Interstate 80 in early October, saying he was “sincere and credible.” An Investigator with the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO) wrote in his report that the witness was a retired civil engineer and Air Force veteran. The witness initially reported the sighting took place around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, around mile marker 169 on Interstate 80. He claimed he was traveling roughly 150 yards behind another vehicle when he noticed something strange. A dark figure appeared to enter the highway ahead of the other vehicle. It was described as a human-like head and shoulders standing over the vehicle in front of him and the whole body was dark. The witness told researchers he thought the figure was about to get hit. “What the hell is he doing?! He’s going to get hit,” the man said. He continued by saying what “shook” him was the way the creature moved across the highway. Not quick or jerky like a sprinter, but fast and smooth, almost seeming to “glide” across the lanes. It was said the figure crossed the highway in about three seconds. He claimed that whatever it was effortlessly disappeared into the woods without needing to climb over the guard rail, as most humans or bears would need to. He said everything happened quickly, and he wasn’t sure if the unknown creature stepped over the guard rail or effortlessly hurdled it. In addition to the main witness, two others reported seeing something that day, too. One person claimed in his report, “I just want to add I know what I saw, but don’t know WHAT I saw. I’m an avid hunter with +50 years in the woods. This was not a bear.” The BFRO reported the sighting was approximately 11.5 miles northeast of Bellefonte near Bald Eagle State Park, with the Sproul State Forest to the north. The low forested ridgeline (Sand Ridge) runs roughly 11.2 miles, rising to meet the high forests of Nittany Mountain. |

I think the entire point of this, and every Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Samsquatch thread, is that the creatures don't exist here. They're not wandering around in the woods near you. They're literally from another reality, popping in and out here as they please. Why? Who the fuck knows. Why do they scream a lot and throw things? Who the fuck knows. Why does no one have a stuffed one? Because see above. None of it makes a lick of sense. If they were just another ape-like being wandering around the wilds of the world, including in the U.S. and not just the backwaters of Canada...yeah, they'd be stuffed and mounted all over at this point. If they are extra-dimensional beings wandering in and out of our reality at will, immune to bullets and such, then why the fuck do they behave like primitive apes? Or are they aliens, dropping in and leaving as they see fit, and, again...behaving like monkeys? Throwing stones at fishermen? Screaming in the woods? Stalking hikers? FFS. No. Get a grip, or produce a corpse. Which, if they're extra-dimensional, or alien, would be exceedingly difficult. How convenient. |
