We know that the ultra wealthy have built what are essentially luxury finished missile silo bomb shelters if they don't' flat out own one in WY/MT/SD I know they were for sale a while ago and sold quick when the decommissioned half of them. That part is easily believed. The part that I wonder about are the "Deep Underground Military Bases". I men if Iran can put labs and centrifuges a mile underground, the US could have a tunneling machine skim along 2 miles underground with particular shafts where the waste is extracted from, nearly the exact same way they did the nightmare tunneling in Washington DC rather than open Earth like NYC. The tunnel machines are built in the area they'll operate and they never leave, they get fed materials and spit out waste leaving a nice shotgun-concrete surface tunnel where it goes. I've gone from the "DUMB" connecting major cities from way too overkill to ""probably in some fashion". Look how the tunnels are still a major problem and not 100% cleared after how many years in only a tiny bit of land? We can do al that, much larger and much deeper as well as faster. to think we don't have a way of moving something 100% secretly is a bit naive so yeah, I think we have some serious tunnels but I don't know the depth or length of them if they're thousand mile long stretches, there need to be a lot of mechanical/maintenance systems for the vehicles to move to be repaired and refueled and some way for fresh air to be cycled. Now if we think of the area under the surface as belonging to the NHI, then we're in for a real show I suppose. |
