RIP Mr. Edward Avila I came here in 2010 not knowing anything about the AR platform. I was lost, confused, didn't know what I wanted. I have learned alot in the years that would follow and I am still learning. And it's not just about the AR platform, it's everything this platform offers members. I laugh often when I am here and sometimes brought to tears. Thank you for starting this site and God bless. |

Edward, a dear friend learned today they may have cancer. I would ask you to spare a few moments and look down and comfort her, encourage her, and stand ready to help her should she need it. K and I miss you. |

RIP. I don't recall ever posting anything publicly about Ed's passing, so I would like to take a second to simply say THANK YOU to Ed, Juan, Ed Sr. and the rest of the Avila family. I haven't been around much as of late, but I still recall everything Ed (& GB) did to take a relatively primitive e-mail list and expand it to the largest firearms and freedom related site on the entire interwebs. Someone should take the time to create an entire ARFCOM history / timeline. It is quite the impressive tale and a story of tremendous accomplishment. (so.... is the infamous author McUzi still around to handle this task?)  I could write on for hours. And... I am quite confident that I am not the only one. Condolences to the Entire Avila Family from my Family. |
