The conundrum is that we have freedom of religion in the US and tolerate all religions, even those that do not tolerate any others. Because Islam is practiced here without restriction this becomes a "Dar al Islam" (land of Islam) or, at least a Dar al Amn (abode of treaty) The Quran is, to a Muslim, the revealed words of Allah as spoken directly to Mohammad in Allah's own language, Arabic. When those words are printed or written it becomes, literally, "Allah's words". Islam is a literal religion. There is no room for interpretation of the Quran. Of course, when the Caliphate is established in the "Land between the Two Oceans" all religions except dhimmi christianity (deliberately not capitalized) will be washed away as the kafirs of wicca, santaria, satanism, goth, atheism, etc are converted or killed. So will the homosexuals (gay, lesbian and transgendered'), the feminists, the secularists, the abortionists, the pornographers (basically the whole television and movie industry), those that play music, anyone that does not dress modestly, women who drive or leave the house unescorted by a male family member, etc. I hope the 50% of Americans who desire the defeat of the US in this war enjoy that world. |
