If it was "legit" why did Wayfair remove all these strange listings after light was shed on it? Why can't they explain them? I don't subscribe to many conspiracy theories but fuckin a something is wrong here. Something is fucked up. We all "know" about the human trafficking and we all "know" that lots of the elite are involved, but we can't prove anything because they do to good of a job hiding it. In the case of ordinary criminals I'd agree: Avoiding suspicion entirely is far better than taking the risk. In the case of powerful elites who have their fingers in the media, the justice system, etc., I'm not so sure. They may just rely on the same disbelief you've expressed to flaunt their power and depravity in front of the whole world, and still get away with it. They've already desensitized our ability to connect the dots with the media-driven ridicule of "conspiracy theorists," so people would still sheepishly say, "Yeah, I guess that's ridiculous" in the face of legitimate evidence. If enough people axiomatically decide up front that such an operation could never happen, any amount of evidence to the contrary becomes useless. After everything we've seen the past few months, it should be apparent that "the powers that be" enjoy going out of their way to humiliate anyone who stands against them. We've already seen them use "refuge in audacity" to get away with the most absurd subversions of reality, so why not this? That's not to say I believe Wayfair is guilty of something. I'm just saying it's not something to dismiss out of hand. Given only the current evidence, my guess is Wayfair puts all sorts of names on their products, and we're seeing the cherry-picked subset that match missing children. Combine that with ludicrous prices for out-of-stock merchandise or similar, and you have very creepy optics. Or, maybe something is actually very wrong. |
