Quoted: Again, strange how in the most armed nation on Earth not one confirmed kill has been made. Out of all the bigfoot encounters, no shots? No kills? "Not enough time / too surprised" - People have made the shots on surprise bear and cougar attacks. Sometime the animal wins, sometimes the human wins, EXCEPT for Bigfoot, who has a 100% win rate? "Hunter was too ethical / Unwilling to shoot unidentified target" - There's no shortage of hunters who shoot stumps, bushes, and other hunters every year. There's also no shortage of hunters who would shoot anything with fur, from dogs and horses to moose and wolves. The odds of any animal existing on American soil and never once catching a bullet is just beyond fictional. If I ever see a Bigfoot/Bigfeet, I'mma start blastin'. Throw rocks at me, I throw lead back. Would prove its existence to the world and the mount would piss of my wife. |

Quoted: Big Foot exists in large enough numbers to have been spotted thousands of times, yet paradoxically is so rare it's never once been spotted by a redneck with a gun who would shoot anything with fur on it. Quoted: Another member told me about this but I think it deserves it's own thread . https://www.clickondetroit.com/news/local/2025/05/25/bigfoot-in-monroe-county-group-finds-story-from-father-son-to-be-credible/ Report # 78631 (Class A) Submitted by witness Edward Henry on Sunday, May 18, 2025. TODAY: Father and son fisherman have close encounter with a bigfoot half way between Toldeo and Detroit (Show Printer-friendly Version) YEAR: 2025 SEASON: Spring MONTH: May DATE: 18 STATE: Michigan COUNTY: Monroe County LOCATION DETAILS: I-75 to Laplaisance Rd exit, behind the jail near the quarry in the back. [Investigator (MM) Notes: The two witnesses entered and exited this area from where Winchester Street terminates at the railroad bed (west side of railroad) north of Plum Creek. These GPS coordinates are not precise. This GPS point is in the marsh near the railroad tracks but is otherwise off the mark from where the incident occured. At the time of this posting I am still awaiting precise coordinates. I wanted to post this report because the incident happened this morning. This GPS point is definitely in the marsh and near the railroad bed mentioned in this report: 41.900658, -83.389054 ] NEAREST TOWN: Monroe NEAREST ROAD: I75 OBSERVED: I was bow fishing today with my son around 11:30am. We walked down the creek [Plum Creek] past four bridges [railroad bridges] and headed into the marsh. 100 yards into the marsh the dog scared up something that was bedded there. Trees were shaking. We thought it was a group of deer. We continued on 200 more yards to the creek basin in the marsh. We sat and enjoyed the wildlife for a little while. We headed back through cattails and saw a lot of deer beds on the way to the first bridge. We crossed the first bridge and was between that and the second bridge. We heard sirens in the distance. My son said do you hear those? I sat down my bow and arrow to get out my.cell phone and earbuds. I wanted to listen to the police scanner app on my phone to see what was happening. My son was behind me and dog was off to the right. All of a sudden I heard rustling in a tree to the left and a huge thud hitting the ground from the tree. A big heavy animal hit the ground and crouched and start moving towards me through brush. My dog fired off from the right of me toward the creature. The dog almost got to it but the creature shot off extremely fast through trees and brush. The dog chased the creature up the slope and over the train tracks. I then called for my dog to come back. My son said "holy shit what was that?? It was as big as a bear but it looked like a gorilla!" We walked back but we heard something crunching on the ground behind us. We left! OTHER WITNESSES: 2 OTHER STORIES: In 1963 on forward numerous newspaper articles we found TIME AND CONDITIONS: 1130am ENVIRONMENT: Swamp forest railroad tracks Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Matthew Moneymaker: I spoke with Edward and his 12 year old son by phone, separately. Both are credible and freshly descriptive about what happened to them this morning. Edward is 47. He was born and raised in the area. He earns a good living working in the demolition trade. I asked many questions about what they saw, and what the animal did. I asked enough to discern that it was not a bear. It was a large dark furred primate that ran up a slope on two legs looking like a gorilla from behind. Yes, that would be a bigfoot. The animal was roughly 10 feet up the tree when it jumped down. At no time was it facing the two humans. The point at which they got the clearest look at it was when it was ascending the embankment. They could see the hairy back and big butt cheeks pretty clearly for a few seconds. The animal was not on all fours. It raced up the slope on two legs but hunched forward. In its hunched posture it was nearly six feet tall. The son said it would have been much taller if not hunched over. This incident happened so fast that there was no time to even consider trying to photograph it. The whole encounter lasted less than ten seconds from beginning to end. It happened totally by surprise. No one would have gotten a photo of it in that first shock interval. This area around the marsh for Tamarack Creek is full of deer. No hunting is allowed there. Only fishing is allowed there. Consequently there are herds of deer in the marsh and woods year round. There are lots of cattails around this marsh as well. Therefore, two things bigfoots consume, especially in winter: cattails and deer. There are likely other food sources around this marsh as well. The satellite images of this marsh area will prompt some people to say this area would not be accessible to bigfoots because there is too much development around, like the nearby town of Monroe. But this pocket of forest and marsh is not cut off from other green belts and farmlands in the area. The ingress are egress for deer will be along the railroad easements heading south. It is not a long walk south along the railroad tracks from Tamarack Creek to large farm fields that are open and dark at night. Bigfoots will walk along railroad beds for long distances. The railroad beds will sometime bring them into pockets of woods very close to towns, as it this case. Why might bigfoots prefer a large pocket and woods and marsh near a town? The closer a nature pocket is to a town, the greater likelihood that hunting is forbidden there (so the bullets don't travel into the neighborhoods). The area becomes a defacto safe haven for deer herds. Bigfoot look for deer so they will sometimes end up in pockets of woods near towns like Monroe when there is enough plants and animals to sustain them. Bullshit ! |

BRFO says the story is credible, and churns through wild machinations to rationalize how the world's most reclusive simian has found an ideal habitat that affords him ample cattails and deer in this hundred-acre wilderness paradise in between ... Toledo and Detroit, amidst the dull roar of I-75, and the county jail ... because "no hunting." Which says a lot about the other stuff they deem credible. |

Everybody in the country carries a phone and a video recorder on them 24/7/365, and there are no indisputable photos or videos out there. Every photo and every video available is either fuzzy, dimly lit, or an obvious fake. Every video available is the same way. Scientists and the public have found once thought extinct animals multiple times that were as small as a gnat, and here we have a creature that is larger than a human, and they can't provide proof beyond the shadow of a doubt? This bigfoot beast, is larger than the big apes, so he would have a brain as large or larger. He would have the intelligence of at least that magnitude. If he has that intelligence, and he would have to, he, like all other apes or humans, will live in a group. Apes, humans, in between, are social animals, and need the interaction of the group to provide food, shelter, fellowship, mating and raising their young, and all other needs. The paragraph above is a fact. There are no great apes that differ from that norm, so it would carry over to bigfeet. Now, knowing that the above must be true, the number of the bigfoot population has to be high enough that they can continue breeding and surviving. I don't know the exact number, but I will bet it would be at least 25. That's a small population, but it would be able to exist for a hundred years or so before communicable diseases killed them off. That small of a number would have to be a small remnant of a population of thousands that once existed. Even with only 25 of them, where is their shelter or their "camping" grounds. They would have to have a central area where the group resided for a day or even a week, moving as they pick berries and things, and hunt other animals for food. There would be evidence of that. There is tons of evidence of all large ape populations. There's leftover food and food products, there's shit as well. Lots of shit. With these apes as large as they are, and needing at least a small population to survive, there is going to be shit somewhere. Have you ever owned a pack of hunting dogs? Even with five or ten, there's shit all over the place. Now, compare that to a group of large apes that are bigger than humans. There's going to be a lot more of it, and it's going to smell, a lot, yet no human has ever smelled it or stepped in it. That leads to food waste and use of very, very primitive tools. They, being social animals, would eat together like all big apes, including humans. They would use very primitive tools, for instance sticks to dig out parts of fruit, honey, ants if they eat them. We find the tools of most apes that use them, yet none for bigfeet. We find no food waste that is direct evidence of being eaten by bigfeet. To survive, animals must either live in one area where they are protected and have an endless supply of food and water, or they must move, follow the food and scavenge for fruits, berries etc. If they lived in one area, we would have found them long ago, because if the live in one area, they would likely stay within 10-20 miles of it. That would mean that any bigfoot seen, would have to be close to an area populated by humans, since many of the "sightings" have been on land owned by people out in the country. Their home would have to be within a short distance, and someone would have stumbled over it by now. For this type of living, they could not exist. That leaves us with travelers. There just isn't enough land for them to survive unseen with today's population, and with aircraft, drones , cars etc. They would be a lot more exposed in that situation, so people would, by accident of either the bigfeet, or the people, see each other. On top of those two things, crops and animal grown by farmers would be too big of a temptation for them, and they would be seen, or eave evidence in the fields, on the crops or by missing animals, be noticed. People would lie in wait for them, and one would have been shot and killed by now. We've only been here for 400 years, that's certainly enough time for at least one to have been killed and documented with indisputable truth. However, there's not one. Four hundred years living around humans, and not one shred of real evidence to prove they exist. Unless they're the ones flying the spaceships, and they're just dropping out to pee, and then we see them, but they have technology that blurs their images, and they get back in their ships a fly off. That's as plausible as bigfoot. |

Quoted: This came to mind reading your post https://feathersandwhiskey.com/teddy-roosevelt-and-the-montana-incident/ BOOKSHELF TEDDY ROOSEVELT AND THE MONTANA “INCIDENT” BY MICHAEL MAYNOR In 1893, a book was published titled The Wilderness Hunter, written by future president and avid sportsman Theodore Roosevelt. It told of his life and sporting adventures in the American West some eighteen years before becoming president. In the book, one story stands out among the others and it’s one that you might not expect to find in a book written by the future president. The story was told to Roosevelt by a man named Bauman, who was referred to in the text as a “grizzled, weather-beaten old mountain hunter.” There are no other details about Bauman except that he was of German heritage and had lived all his life on the frontier. The old mountain man tells the future president that he and an unnamed partner had planned to trap beaver in a remote section of the Montana wilderness near the Wisdom River (now the Big Hole). Other hunters avoided the area after a trapper’s mutilated body was discovered sometime earlier by a group of miners passing by his camp. Still, the two men were not to be deterred by the stories told of the area and ventured deep into the remote Montana backcountry. There they made a quick lean-to shelter, and with few hours of daylight left, made their way up the river to scout. They returned at dusk to discover their cover destroyed and their belongings scattered around the campsite. Thinking it was a bear, they cleaned up, and Bauman set about making supper. His partner left to investigate some tracks, and what he found could not have been made by a bear, but something that walked upright on two legs like a man; but no man could have left those prints. Bain, G. G., photographer. (1885) Theodore Roosevelt in. , 1885. [Photograph] Retrieved from the Library of Congress. The trapper returned to camp and told his partner what he discovered. Bauman scoffed at his partner’s concerns, but the man was adamant about his findings. The hunters settled into sleep, but it would not be a restful night. Sometime before dawn, Bauman was awakened by the sound of breaking branches and a foul-smelling odor. He could see a big hulking shape looming in the distance and fired at it with his rifle, but whatever it was fled into the darkness. The two men built up the fire and sat up the rest of the night. The next morning they stayed close together and worked their traps. Later, when they returned to camp, they again found the campsite destroyed. This time, the men built a more significant fire and agreed the next day to leave the area. In the morning, with the sun shining brightly, Bauman and his partner felt a bit foolish for letting their fears get the best of them, and while Bauman gathered the last of the traps, the other hunter returned to camp to make final preparations to leave. When Bauman finally returned, he was greeted by the horrific sight of his partner’s body laid out with a broken neck and bite marks to his throat. Bauman paused only briefly to survey the scene trying to make sense of what had happened, and then, taking only his rifle, he fled the camp, making it to where the horses had been tied. Bauman makes no mention of what he thought the creature was, and Roosevelt does not call it a Bigfoot or a squatch in his book, but it has hallmarks of Bigfoot stories; the foul smell, large hulking body, and the classic large tracks. Bauman was an old man when he told this tale to Roosevelt, and it must have made an impression on him to be included in his book. What do you think Bauman encountered all those years ago in the vast Montana wilderness? So, that's not anything that Roosevelt witnessed. It was told to him by someone who knew someone that it happened to. The guy telling Roosevelt could have been lying, or the guy that told him could be lying. Either way, you cannot use it as proof. It is merely hearsay, which is not admissible in court. What we want to see or hear, in order to believe there's a bigfoot, is real evidence, not hearsay, not someone's story. In order to prove they exist, you must have a body, bones, photos or videos that are conclusive, and not blurred out or so far away you can't tell. That's what I'm saying, we've been here 400 years, and there is no conclusive evidence of their existence. None. |
