I make parts gun parts for companies, they all try to sell at double to triple what I charge. There is a reason PSA can undercut everyone. They don't have a 300 % markup |

When I got my RR M16 over a decade ago they were still making them, but I was focused on ‘cheap FA shooting’ via 7.62x39 and 5.45x39 uppers. I should have done the smart thing and gotten an LM7 upper and 50 belts

I like it but that ROF needs to come down some. High ROF and the slide damage reports make it a no go for now. Those of you partaking, get the McFadden lightening loader! TX mags aren't hard to load but slow to load, lightening loader makes loading much faster. In the video he only shoots it on the one that doesn't have the optic. I think in the other video posted in the ROF forum the guy has 2 guns with the frt installed, one with optic and one without. Eta - this is cool, but I think I'd rather have a 3 position frt that works out of the box for an AR22 with cmmg bolt. |

With all that being said the 5 I ordered (in 416 SS) cost approximately $4. Shipping was right at $30!

They are still very finicky to get running well, typically need fitting, where-in, tons of lube, and an extra power RSA spring. That was the route I went until I found Serpico Performance makes CNC’d and anodized triggers and CNC’d trips at a reasonable price. 100% easier to use and shoot than the Open Source trigger that Freedom Finger is selling. FWIW, that same open source trigger can be bought dirt cheap on Feebay as individual components-shoe, spring, and trigger. It’s not hard to get doubles out of the Serpico trigger, 4-5 round bursts seem the most effective but you’ll want to be 30 feet or closer….. start low on the target and let it walk up. IMO, the handgun based FRT’s are what will get these added to the Registry-a Quick Look at YouTube shows that the ghetto has adopted them over switches. |
