So those on welfare or other federal / state subsistence programs that would have seen no loss of income or have to worry about loan repayment in the short term for their new rims get an extra $xxxx per month just to go spend on boosting the economy? I'll be turning mine into more prep stuff for the next crisis - we will need it more than we needed toilet paper for this one .... |

Just a curiosity,
Is this in the form of a loan where we owe that all back next tax time? Say the crisis went for three months and you received the $5,000. Would next April instead of owing say $1,000 you would then be on the hook for $16,000? I've always been leary of the governments freebies since the $1,000 "tax break" of years ago. |
