| Looks like the start of last year here. Tornado warnings in Feb, March, April and May with nada. June the sirens went off and we got hit with a EF2. I seen itcoming across the bridge heading home. Started coming down over my brothers house. Aunt and uncles house had a tree land on it. South side of town looked like a war zone. What irritates me the most was the number of idiots who had to drive down to lookie loo. Just stay the fuck out. Need to check on elderly family, fine, but if you dont have an actual legit reason, stay the fuck out. |

He says that DC and points south are gonna have issues, but NOAA and Weather Underground are still saying t-storms for Sunday with max winds @ 20MPH. We shall see. My main exposure is downed trees, living 1/2 mile off the paved road with the right-of-way cut through woods. |

OK, I just live here where literally every department and dispatch refers to a non-structure fire as a grass fire. A prairie fire must be where an unknown and unidentified grass-like fuel burns. I was trying to say that they won't just be small grass fires this weekend, they will quickly grow into raging prairie fires due to the conditions. Sorry if I somehow offended you.
