On March 1, 1974, a grand jury in Washington, D.C., indicted several former aides of Nixon, who became known as the "Watergate Seven"—H. R. Haldeman, John Ehrlichman, John N. Mitchell, Charles Colson, Gordon C. Strachan, Robert Mardian, and Kenneth Parkinson—for conspiring to hinder the Watergate investigation. The grand jury secretly named Nixon as an unindicted co-conspirator. The special prosecutor dissuaded them from an indictment of Nixon, arguing that a President can only be indicted after he leaves office. John Dean, Jeb Stuart Magruder, and other figures had already pleaded guilty. On April 5, 1974, Dwight Chapin, the former Nixon appointments secretary, was convicted of lying to the grand jury. Two days later, the same grand jury indicted Ed Reinecke, the Republican Lieutenant Governor of California, on three charges of perjury before the Senate committee. ------------------------- Anyone who signed anything under penalty of perjury to the FISC/FISA court should be summarily arrested/indicted/serve time just as the Watergate people did. In this case hillary paid for the abuse and she should be charged. Hell, she should have been been charged already except "the fix was in" came from the crowd at the FBI.  out of

The DNC, led by hillary, deliberately targeted a political rival for the highest office in the land, slandered at least his name, his family, and his friends. At worst violated numerous policies, rules, regulations and federal laws and statutes. That the FBI and the DOJ knew the dossier was false and paid for by the DNC makes it even worse. It means they indirectly or directly colluded with the DNC against a political rival. Then lied and tried to cover it up, stonewalled the House Intelligence Committee, and got the MSM to help them slant/color/slight/spin/dress it all up as the fault of those evil republicans. |

I read the memo and was left with "is this all there is?" Nothing in there we haven't heard numerous times and already knew. I seriously hope the DOJ prosecutes people over this, but I don't see it happening. It mainly throws a few higher ups in the FBI and DOJ under the bus, but unfortunately the bus was stopped at the time. |

The financial markets apparently agree with the magnitude of the disclosures, but it remains to be seen whether or not the remedial action necessary to restore the confidence in our elective process and even our system of government itself, will be undertaken.
Unlike as was the case with The Watergate affair, today's media is working with the perpetrators. |

We have see our government under Obama and Hillary directly engage in openly seditious conduct that has resulted in the deaths of many US citizens, as well and countless other non citizens either directly or as collertal damage. Nothing came of that. |

As someone else said above, the media is in collusion with the perpetrators this time, instead of working overtime to expose them. Watergate: Nixon uses private parties to do targeting studies. Memogate: FBI launders their involvement through a "safeguard" court and self-justified source to employ legally justified government surveillance organs. Many changes. The standout: Nixon had to hire corrupt pipe hitters to knowingly do corrupt shit. The FBI got upstream and legally suborned "good" people to do their work. Honest, patriotic Americans in government employment can safeguard against the first, they're combat assets for the latter. |
