Or so I heard.  Potassium perchlorate and aluminum powder is not sensitive at all. I experimented with it a long time ago. Took small amounts and set it on metal then hit it with a hammer and was never able to get it to go off. Now if you use chlorate instead of perchlorate it becomes a little more sensitive. If you add sulfur it becomes very sensitive. |
