When off to the gym where I can't carry during activity, I use this Kelty sling bag with a Crossbreed velcro backed holster inside. It's designed for gun carrying. I've reached the age where I don't care if other people see me and think I have a man purse. |

I would call mine a satchel. Sometimes holds a Kindle, sometimes my 9mm. Usually some tissues, eye drops, hand cream, and a water bottor attached. If I'm leaving the mothership on an away mission, these are usually the things I need. Also, can't fit a lot of stuff in my skinny jeans.

I had inconspicuous cases for ARs and shotguns so went unnoticed 99% of the time but a nosy neighbor at 6 am came out asking questions when I was loading the vehicle with cased firearms once. Just stood there trying to pepper me with questions so I hit the road as fast as possible while saying about as much as I would in a court room |

Ten years ago Arfcom freaked over Nutnfancy's fanny pack edc bag. Now I have a kid and live outside of the US a lot. The man was ahead of his time in this area.  I have 3 fanny packs to grab and go depending on the situation like running, travel, and gym. If I take a backpack it just sits in there acting as an IFAC. |

I live in a tourist community where there is a lot of hiking and outdoor activity. My HPG Kit bag with a pair of Merrell or Keen boots fits right in as does my Maxpedition Sling pack. I am a dad of a toddler and middle aged. I could wear a fanny pack and have anything from kid stuff to a min war kit in it. I am considering a Sheepdog Response Low Viz Waist Pack now.

I've got one, I wear it slung over my shoulder with a full sized VP9 w/light+mag inside, along with my wallet keys and phone in separate compartments. It's a hell of a lot more comfortable and unoticeable for daily errands than trying to keep everything in my pants. Gray is good. Tons of people where I am have them from all walks of life. Idgaf what other people think, but nobody's ever had the gaul to say anything to me.

Back when I spent alot of time at the beach, boating and in the water or biking/skating, waist packs were the only way to carry your shit with board shorts on unless you wanted to constanly open a fucking velcro pocket. They made sense, they became a convenient way of not having to constantly transfer shit from pants pockets to shorts and back too. You just unbuckled the pack and put it back on. Throw it in the glove box at the beach or boat too. I’ve had a Stussy, Jandds and a Maxpedition over the last three or four decades. |
