Beautiful humans all around. We’re at El Paso gunslinger is 4 hours to lordsberg and 4 hours home. It’s another 4 hours if he has to run to El Paso. Anyone in Nm that can pick up in NM, have some imitation krab meat and get Billy to lordsberg? That’s all we need! BAWK BAWK playboys (Dan Cummins reference). |

I will pick him up in Poplar Bluff MO sometime Thurs. Should get him back to Fayetteville Thurs night. I would like to meet someone in the Sherman area around noon Fri so I can get back for grandsons' ballgames Fri night. That is over a thousand miles which is about this old man's limit. |

Do we know? I just got out here tonight and met Billy briefly. He's a big sweetheart! I didn't check underneath to see if he was fixed, but I think that's one of the first things Joker takes care of when he gets one. When I walked in, he came right over (along with the rest) and just wanted some attention. Very relaxed, took to a strange guy walking up readily, and I'm glad he already has a home lined up because I would have been tempted to try to bring him home with me.  |

Well… It looks like I will be picking Billy up in Lordsburg. Thanks for the volunteer Gunslinger808. He’ll just have to hold the fort down here at home, while I make the trip. Then, I’m headed the same way in another week! Really looking forward to meeting Billy. He will be visiting us for many “Dee-oohh-geese play dates”.

If guess he's around 65-70 pounds. Not huge, but decently sized. I don't know if he has food for the trip, but I'll ask today. |

Ok. We’re under 24 hours from gotime. All transport pickup/drop off pairs have each other’s contact info and have worked out meeting spots. Billy leaves Thursday and is estimated to arrive Saturday. Friday (Billy’s second day on his freedom road) Cpermd and R3L04D are meeting now or in the next few minutes for the next piece of trail. R3L04D is taking Billy to Fort Worth and then one more nights rest. 0002s inbound to Fort Worth where they will take over the night duties before departing tomorrow to midland, El Paso, lordsburg then outside Tucson. Gunslinger said he could meet along the southern New Mexico/Az border so the delivery can take place bandito style. Thanks, but we’re doing great, we already have two big dogs so we’re well stocked on everything, just waiting on his custom collar to come in. Tomorrow it’s a vet visit, rabies booster as we don’t know if his shots are up to date, check for chip and if none he will be getting one, general check up, and of course bath, grooming, and nail trim. Plus it doesn’t hurt to get them used to vet visits. I really can’t thank all of you that we’re involved in this transport enough, I feel indebted to you for all your effort, time, and attention. |

Ok, I'm back in the world of the living. Every link on the trip, every member involved, everything went fantastic. Cannot express my gratitude enough for everyone involved. True Arfcom reach getting this pup moved right around 2100 miles. Everyone that pulled a shift for this is an amazing and glorious bastard. I haven't checked the main adoption thread yet but last time I saw it there was still a dog or two needing adoption. Step up and arfcom will step up in kind to do the needful. Let this transport thread be the beacon you need to assure yourself it's possible wherever you are. |
