I just watched it.......couldn't believe it. People were CHEERING Rush. The funniest thing was that little "track" Leno has out back where the guests race an electric Ford Focus for the best time. Leno has "obsticles" that pop out to distract the drivers. For Rush, he had cardboard cutouts of Al Gore and Ed Begley Jr. that popped out in front of the car......if you hit them, you have time added to your lap time (bad). When they popped out in front of Rush, he hit them, then stopped and backed over them. Freakin' hilarious, and the crowd cheered. hahaha. that is awesome! I can't wait to see it on youtube I briefly considered watching tonight but didnt know the guests, and well honestly I dozed off. I'll be watchign youtube of it ASAP. |

Jay isn't stupid....far from it. If he keeps up shows like tonight's, his rating's are gonna pick WAY up. He see's what FOX has been doing to the MSM, especially his own "network". FOX could use a good comedy show!

Leno: People with billions of dollars and hundreds of millions of dollars What Rush should have said: Well, Jay, how many cars do you need? You've got a massive private collection of cars and there are people in this country who don't even have one! That's the logical end of your line of thinking. In reality it's none of anyone's business how many cars you have because you've earned the money to pay for them. You invested your time and talent into an endeavor that's paid off. You have a demonstrated ability to get eyeballs in front of a TV screen...and people who want to sell products are eager to have those eyeballs looking at their commercials....so you get paid a pretty good chunk of money. In the process you create a product that employs everybody drawing a paycheck in this studio...and they spend and invest their money too. THAT is the beauty of capitalism, Jay. If you can come up with a marketable product or service you SHOULD be rewarded financially commensurate with the value you are adding to the economy...and anyone who gets ticked off that you own a thousand cars and get paid tens of millions of dollars ought to shutup about it, because you're EARNING it. |

Liberals, like Leno, always think in terms of need and not free market capitalism. And it's pretty glaring when Leno sits there and talks about need, when he has a warehouse full of non-green cars and motorcycles. Hypocrite. Leno appears to be a decent type, but is just not well-read or educated enough to critically think about what he is supporting. And thanks to the poster who showed up with the link. That was great. |
