| As someone in a ban state, I do prefer something with compatibility with the lowers that I currently have. This does look like a nice continuation to the JAKL and as I said earlier, I hope they put some of the improvements into the gen 1. maybe call it the 1.5 or something. |

I love it and want it more than the 1.0. It’s a mixup of 416A5, MCX, and ACR features and it looks great. However I am also in the RAR QUIT PIN-WELDING camp.  Give me a 16” with an A2! I have a HALO and an M4SD2 that’ll mount on the A2 and I can swap it for my 51T if I desired.51T will live forever!! At least until i can get another 7.62 can for newer guns. Maybe the Griffin dual-lok 7.62. Hmm. |

I have/had interest in a ver.1 upper since I already have NFA lowers but was waiting to see if they solved the fat problem and attachment complaints before committing. It seems like they don’t care now with this intro and I have less interest if they have no desire to address that issue in the ver.1. On my gen 300 the forward weight is my only complaint, I actually really like the charging handle location on the gen 1. |

Using a profile that decreases that weight (even if something simple like Faxon's Gunner profile) would help immensely. That's another thing about the jakyl and even their 556 AKs, no chf chrome lined options. They aren't exactly cheap rifles and I would of had one by now if they had a thinner profile chrome lined barrel. PSA is definitely doing a ton of interesting things that I like though. Nitriding is the future. Chrome lining will be a thing of the past soon. |
