I know shit about drugs so I will not claim to be an expert but from what I understood back then it was not laced with drugs but some other chemical. I dont not know all the facts but after seeing the different in this kid I know it is possible. Believe me or not, who cares its the internet. There are plently of people who get seriuosly messed up on bunk drugs of all kinds. Just like people get messed up on bunk home brew. I am not saying I am for or against it I just know it isnt for me. |

I read somewhere that the LD50 of THC is so low that it would require 50 tons of marijuana to reach it. If you started now, and didn't stop, you couldn't smoke that much weed in your lifetime. (some will try  )The only way that 50 tons of reefer is going to kill you is if you're under it when it falls off the boat. |

some dealers will lace their products with PCP to enhance their shitty dirt weed and it usually works out just fine. The problem is that theres a few people who have very adverse reactions to it (theres a reason it earned the nickname "tragic magic") ETA: theres also so really fucking stupid people in this world. Several of who are drawn into the drug culture. For an example of their great intelligence, I met a guy who raised dogs for fights who liked to feed them some gun powder in belief that it would somehow make them better fighters... if you need further evidence, maybe you should remember the Liberia gun fighter pictures with the guy wearing the life jacket.

What kind of answer do you want, I am no dealer nor ever been one so why would anyone have an answer to your question. Why would a company provide crappy customer service and shitty products, wouldnt that hurt business? But we see that all the time with businesses. Your question gets no answer because the answer is "they are drug dealers, other than money they dont give a shit about their clients dead or not, there is another one around the corner". With your logic no one would ever sell heavy drugs that actually do kill users because its bad for business but they still do....

We test all the pot we seize. There's alot of heroin and other things mixed in. Some dealers get heroin so cheap they throw it in thier to get people addicted without their knowledge. Then it's a win win situation for them, you're addicted to heroin and figure it out or your a dummy and think you're addicted to pot. |

If you've ever seen MJ buds you'd know if someone tried to "lace" it with something. What would even be the point? My guess is some inexperienced dumbass wanted weed and somebody took advantage of him and sold him something that fucked him up like pencil shavings and rat poison or something .

I never said PCP was used as a substitute, I said that some people use it as an enhancement. Also, I don't know anything about the 70's, most of my experience with drugs and people using them was late 90's - today. Over the course of several years, I knew people who bought weed laced with PCP. Sometimes they knew it while buying it, sometimes they only found out when they smoked it. Hell, my old roommate purchased ecstasy 2 years back and found that it had PCP in it. Granted, this sort of thing doesn't happen often, but its happened several times. |
It was a long time ago, and I remember most of the story because I live on the same side of town. I think it was just weed, and I recall the gun being an AK or SKS. Guy comitted suicide later in jail (I was skeptical too). This was merely a contrast to justin's post. It was more of a joke than anything. I still think marijuana laws are stupid, and I might point out that if not for those laws the incident I referenced wouldn't have happened... |
Got a cite for that? Or was it an apocryphal story/urban legend? In the 60s (prior to it's prohibition and while the CIA was playing around with it to test its "mind control" properties) there were a couple documented cases of college kids on LSD taking a walk off a rooftop, but I've never seen any documentation of a pothead doing it. |
I don't smoke weed, and don't have any in my house. Doesn't mean that I can't argue that laws prohibiting it are stupid. Even if it was legal, I doubt I would smoke it. |
