In a nutshell, they want to shut the site down and it should not make it easy for them. Once the specific nature of the threat is know, policies can always be revised. The fact that we have to watch what we post here says a hell of a lot more than what anyone could say tells us exactly what the United States is facing, so keep that in mind when we try to follow the new policy. |

Quoted: No, no. I'm not talking about crowdfunding Arf's server bills. I'm asking if it would be feasible for a group of investors to start a web hosting company to compete with Amazon and offer hosting services, that, in the case of Arf, Brownell's might pay for. Like, they'd cut us a check every month and we'd host the site. Or a thousand other sites that had been restricted by TPTB. I mean, at least until the DoJ arrests us all. I do that now and there is still practically no interest out there. |
|
Quoted: Additional layer of security for forums. Not really much of a change. Think of a couple new forums with this new security group stuff as the most likely scenario. It's just a different way to vet users and be able to have more "secure" areas. We can just leave forums alone and just classify discussions based on risk factor, and then put them in escalated levels instead of trashing them. So a thread that would be trashed, may go to level 3 to save it. Then maybe level 4 if it gets worse. Eventually trash if needed. It will disappear for those who aren't vetted enough to see it. These are just EXAMPLES, there is no strategy right now on how we want to put this into effect and will let membership help decide our best course of action. Thanks. |

I implore you all to not post anything which violates our policies. This means you should avoid posting any threats (even veiled ones), promoting violence, and not support rioting of any kind. This is not anything new and continues to be in line with what every hosting provider enforces and what we, as websites, need to adhere to as well. What does that mean? If we express agreement with protesters who raided the capital we violate the rules? If we say "good" when the Proud Boys fight back against Antifa we violate the rules? What about a comment about watering the tree of liberty? Flesh this part out please. JFC it would seem as though the left has intimidated the country into only allowing the left to enjoy free speech. Maybe it was pretty fucking stupid to host a pro-gun, pro-conservative site on servers owned by a leftist company. |

Quoted: These aren't the things that need to be moved. I think you all just want to see doom and gloom and want to project your fears into the reality. We are fighting against COC violations and the folks TRYING to get the site shut down. As most of you are aware, there are folks here purely to shut us down and pretend to be us until they can act. This is when we will see a number of weird accounts pop up and say stupid shit. They are doing this on Parler and look how well it worked. If you see someone acting wrong, like a leftist plant you claim are everywhere, then let us know so they can be handled. DO NOT just report folks with differing opinions. I don't report anybody for anything, that's your job and your moderators. As to what I think you are referring from the context of your post, this morning in another post there was an individual that registered in 2014 and had ONE post and he posted back up somewhere in this thread making it TWO posts in 80 months.... I mentioned I found that odd....If you don't then that's cool. |

I have admittedly not been a Team member for a few years, but do not recall any type of vetting process in place for that status. $24 and anyone could be Team. Has that changed? I see a lot of stupid shit posters, and Team does not appear to be any type of preventative screen. |

Quoted: Folks with open opinions and talk were usually dragged out of their homes. There's a reason they met in secret. Quoted: Quoted: We aren't talking about actual mission planning here. If you're working on no shit action plans against the government that should be done entirely face to face and not on the internet at all. This is about voicing beliefs against the king. Were there no openly held opinions prior to 1776? Folks with open opinions and talk were usually dragged out of their homes. There's a reason they met in secret. There's a reason I'm keeping my rifle, PC, and some other useful items out and ready too. Edit - I'd rather be more effective long term, but I'm ok with being a martyr if things went that way. I made up my mind I wouldn't be taken alive in Iraq if that situation ever happened. I still feel the same way about surrendering now. |

Quoted: It is not entirely a peer 2 peer vetting. Things like history on here will be used as well. If done right, it will not only make sense, but work as intended. And please don't expect perfection on day one. A lot of this stuff takes time, effort, and feedback. This will also live as an additional level of security, not a replacement for current things. Quoted: Losing ARF as a platform would be BAD. You can't yell "fire" in a crowded movie theater, either. Organize here and vent your spleen over a beer in trusted company. The hypocrisy is extremely galling, but I don't see a better alternative. Why do people keep posting that bullshit? |
|
Quoted: I'm the same way, classic liberal trope. It's always "fire in a crowded theater", which is bullshit. You are free to yell it, just be prepared for the consequences. Quoted: ![]() They openly talked rebellion in the streets, pubs and at the colonial assemblies. They did. Especially in the frontier areas (west, south, etc), but men have always held secrecy when it's needed, including meeting in taverns in cities to plan and prepare. Remember that at that time cities like Boston wer flowing with troops who patrolled the streets nightly. |

Quoted: Yesterday Goatboy said that is what he is trying to do but it will take time. Eventually he'll probably find something IMHO. ETA: Doing a search on the internet there are NUMEROUS right wing sites stating basically the same (i.e., that they will have to seek out alternative internet providers, etc.). Eventually I assume this will mean maybe a new type of provider will emerge............. ISP's are at the mercy of the govt ! It would need to be offshore ISP, but even then it's an issue, because the commi's in the swamp will create rules that dictate what can and cannot be on the wire inside the US. So although they can't shutdown the ISP itself, then can order backbone carriers to black-hole any/all data to-from such ISP, etc. You will still have a right to speak, but you can only say the words they allow you to say. We keep re-hashing all the commi scenario's that are/have-been and will happen, yet we all know what the solution is and will be. So as much as I would like to debate the best ways to scoot around the commi BS, there's only two (2) options that I see as being viable at this point, either go sit on the bench and be good sheeple, or come onto the field to be in the game. Each has grave consequences, but only one is the right choice. The commi's made some very poor choices, there is no "de-escalating" as they are hoping to do, the only path fwd at this time is "escalation". Sad but true. The swamp is at this time full of commi's and turncoats, surely a mistake on their part to choose to be such, and now The People have had enough. Why are people all up-in-arms over Jan 6th, nobody burned the place to the ground, although they could have gone in full BLM style. If the loons in DC think Jan 6th was "crazy insurrection", then they are sorely mistaken. In respect for this site, I am not using other choice words to describe where we are at, but I think most here understand the situation, what the real threat is, and how it will be dealt with. It's does seem shockingly apparent though, the swamp tics did not receive the message that was delivered on Jan 6th, their whole "we are gonna come get you and put you in jail" BS response is just that, meaningless BS to Patriots who are defending The Republic. I wonder how much vacancy jail space there is, 100mil big ?? I think the bottom line is this, the swamp itself has some hard choices to make after the commi-turncoat regime takes office. They better choice wisely. Side note: I was just temp-banned off another gun forum today, and my words there much less harsher than my words above. Sheeple is more common than I expected, so sad. |

Quoted: This was indeed the left's plan and the folks who rioted at the capitol allowed them to accelerate their schedules. Talk about shooting the rest of us in the foot. The sooner everyone learns to leave emotion out of it and laser focus on the goals, the better off we will be. The rally was amazing, the capitol attack was stupid. Now we are faced with less freedom as the Marxist plan continues to move through it's phases. Communication is now up and we are seeing it being taken from us as quickly as possible. This is the current fight many of us need to focus on. We need communication channels! Yesterday I asked for the HAM guys to come into GD and get folks prepared on cheap/simple HAM setups so everyone has a backup system in place to communicate. I would suggest as many as possible follow their advice and prepare themselves properly. It's not just a firearm and ammo, if you are caught alone and unprepared, you will be washed away in a tidal wave. We need to form a wall that the wave will break against. That's assuming a wave comes. I still have hope that America will see that we cannot survive without each other. We need to stop fighting and start working together to solve problems. Talking about shooting ones self in the foot. SMH. Please explain further the false dilemma presented by yourself multiple times in the thread. Why are the only two options either this, or shutting the site down immediately? Please explain further for us to understand, because right now this sure looks like an attempt to purely save revenue and nothing more. Yall will be on cattle cars crying about optics and how the "rioters" are to blame. I never expected this from ARF. |
|
Quoted: There are established members here either refusing to accept that the Capitol Police Officer was beaten by "Patriots" or outright cheering the death of the officer. Whoa. Links to the truth please. Such conduct is not the correct conduct at this point in the fight. Certainly the murder of Ashli Babbitt (a peasant unarmed trespasser as CNN calls her) was not warranted either. In both cases though we should expect the law to prevail in the right ways, but I bet you now $1,000 that the murder goes as justified, and the other get years in jail. |

Quoted: This is literally war It's a new generation of civil war. The wars of the past were very unique, but this one too is also unique. It's gonna be confusing at 1st, but it will coalesce into what it needs to be. Don't ever toss in the white towel as so many are doing, let the others be sheeple, it's their choice to do so. A Samurai does not carry a white towel, for good reason. |

Quoted: Every thread about Ashli's murder have folks damn glad she was executed If you are on twitter, just view all the anti Trump holes, they are all celebrating her death. This celebration cannot be tolerated ! If we say anyone here celebrating her death is a bad thing to do, I agree, then I also agree all those anti Trump'ers are scum commi's who are evil in every way. There is a clear line in the sand to be had, read about Israelites destroying the Canaanites. I know what that line looks like, I don't see the line yet, but the clarity is coming faster than we expect it to. |

Maybe it was pretty fucking stupid to host a pro-gun, pro-conservative site on servers owned by a leftist company. Maybe there is a difference between protesters and rioters. Supporting protesters is probably fine, supporting destruction of property or assaulting the police is not. Defending against antifa is fine, being the aggressors is not. I know everyone is saying they are tired of “playing by the rules” or “the other side fights unfair”, but this capital hill protest has not played out well. This would be a completely different story if the police were the only side being aggressive. Sometimes you have to bend the rules protesting, maybe that gets you tear gassed, pepper sprayed, or shot with wooden bullets, but there is a line that can’t be crossed, it’s not “fair” but you can’t pepper spray the police, you can’t assault them. People are gloating how they took over the capital in one day and BLM couldn’t take anything over in months. From what I saw in my city, aside from the first day of violence, the days and weeks that followed, the protestors were passively resisting. Standing in the street and then being beaten by the police. At any point they could have stormed the capital. The idea was to be heard and noticed, not to cause damage or injury. I would say anyone causing damage is a bad actor, and bad actors can take any form or shape. I guess that is the same with this forum, people are supporting violence and destruction of property. Now more than ever is the time to take the moral high ground. Self regulate, don’t stoop to their level. |
