@ibbob Wednesday would mean holding Mavis that long. Is that doable for you? And could you guys connect at the bottom of that big lake?   That would save a lot of miles for you, ibbob. @dphill can come a couple of hours. I don't know how far it is from Watertown to Kenosha County. I'm looking for I-80 on the map and I see 94, but not 80. I don't know that part of the country at all. @Chukar |

Yes that is very doable, I have lost my Milwaukee driving skill over the years I'm not sure where you are going @Chukar but I could meet up along the boarder anywhere pretty much like Beloit for example depending on the time and date |

So the woman that had mavis was supposed to only have her til Mark was better and come back home , once Mark passed away I offered to rehome her and was told she lived mavis and wanted to keep her! The lady lives in a one bedroom apt and supposedly worked from home, we I guess she got a second job and is leaving her crated for several hours , Mavis is a young GSD and has a lot of energy and the woman isn’t walking her or getting her out of the apt, instead of coming to me to ask for help or to find her a more fitting home she tries to dump her at the shelter behind my back to “avoid me” Thankfully enough people up north know me and they contacted me right away and made me aware of the situation! I have had contact with the lady every other week and every time we spoke I was told they were doing great !! I sent food and supplies to her monthly also and paid for her emergency vet visit due to an ear infection |

Beautiful. Reminds me of my current dog in his younger years. Whatever squirrel/rabbit/skunk/raccoon etc. he was locked onto when he assumed that posture was likely to have a very bad day if I didn’t intervene… Local critters tended to walk Around my yard rather than Through it. |

All in a smaller, more manageable package that works for most personal circumstances. I swear, retirement for me can’t come soon enough. Just me, a few Mavis’s and a nice piece of land and I’m good for the remainder of my days… Duke That dog has Dutchie in her too |
