Kick ass bronze statue? Useful lighthouse? Nope. Big Ole pile of rocks that you can literally find everywhere. Why is this? Didn't people want bricks for their houses, aqueducts or.... like walls? Why? |

Who ever created them didnt just start building these massive structures out of some of the hardest rocks on this planet with out generations of practice and learned knowledge that some how seem to only exist at the time they were built.. Yet to this day we still dont know exactly how and when they were made... |

Legend has it the swipe taken out of Menkaure's pyramid was done just after the muslim conquest as part of an effort to destroy the pyramids.
