The gold M60 was made from unservicable parts, it was a gift to somebody. Every gun in there has a number which can be looked up in the corresponding book in front of the displays. Pretty much all of the guns said they had the firing pins removed in the early 70s. Those OICW things were made in 66, one by Springfield and the other by some Aerospace company, I don't remember who.

The 'real' Springfield Armory (of US Ord Corps fame, not the current maker of commercial semi-M14s and 1911s) was, IIRC, in MA, not IL
