The app on the phone is GREAT, and even easier to hold than the Kindle. Will be sure to leave a review on Amazon when I've finished the book. I have an older Kindle Fire and it's heavy for what it is...can't tell you how many times I've fallen asleep while reading and had it bash me in the face 
My phone is much lighter so maybe my husband won't get so many squinky-eyed looks from people 
(Maybe I should also stop yelling "don't hit me no mo" in public after a round with my Kindle)

It is pretty awesome timing to! I have a 6 hour flight tomorrow with a several hour lay over in Chicago. So I am going to need to have to brush up on my survival skills!
I will buy the book and every other one when they come out just to help support a fellow arfcommer. Any similarities to the endworld series by David Robbins? Picked up twins cities run by chance at the dollar tree when taking my grandmother there one day as it was only a dollar and it was the only interesting looking book. Ended up really liking it. |

To everyone who downloaded and posted such positive comments--THANK YOU!!! I am truly blessed by your generosity and well-wishes. I have to admit that I was nervous about posting here. I like to think that I've got thick skin but I've learned over the years that Arfcom can be....well, a little brutal at times.....and nobody wants to hear how much their first book sucks, or that the zombie genre is too used up, etc. We authors all say that we want honest opinions---but we're still people and nobody wants to be dog piled. Writing is one of a few jobs where you have to put yourself and your work out there with the expectation of criticism. (Sometimes, that really sucks the root!) To everyone who posted negative comments--THANK YOU TOO!!! The negative comments have been 100% well-founded criticism and I will be taking those comments to heart. Your input will make me a bettter writer and I hope that you'll give me a chance to prove it by reading Book 2. To everyone who downloaded and left a review--THANK YOU THE MOST!!! Verified purchases with positive reviews are the key to Kindle sales. Without your kind words, my novel would be like every other book out there......months without a nibble. There have been roughly 70 posters who said that they would download in this thread, but just since I started typing, there have been another 10 downloads--it's now at 1013!!! This is the kind of traffic that puts a book on the map, and I owe it to you! TL;DR--Thank you Arfcom!!!

Download the kindle app on your phone, it worked pretty well for me.
Lee: Loved the book, and I can't wait for the second installment. I left a review under the same name as here. It was like I could actually feel you growing as a writer as the book progressed, which was amazing for just 300 pages. Mr. Corrreia, whose books I also love, seemed to take a couple novels to improve the same amount |

I am looking forward to the next book in the series and would love to see these as Audible downloads in the future. Most of my "reading" these days is accomplished via audiobooks, in my shop while I am casting/reloading ammo/building ARs or working on 1911s. Just finished it today. Not quite what I am used to reading but I enjoyed it. Generally the books I read have lots of explosions and things getting shot, a lot.
One thing I noticed was that the epilogue felt rushed. Now, I have never written a book so maybe that is the way it is supposed to be. Just adding in my .02. |

Just finished it and it SUCKS.....
It sucks that I don't have book 2 in my possession.  
Seriously, I really enjoyed it and looking forward to the next event.
Really kept my attention with the edge of the seat action. You have a seriously overactive imagination! Off to leave a review.

Oh My God! Oh My God! It's hear. It came in the male and eye cut it open as soon ass I got in the door. The greatest gift any person has ever beastowed on me. I'm am truly blessed. 
Also I don't die from an Alien STD due to butt rape aboard a Star Cruiser. Life is good. Thank you very much for the book. I'll treasure it always.
