| I used to live in a 200 or so year old house many years ago . It had a long history of weird shit happen there . One night I woke up and set straight up in my pitch black room because something had slapped me on the chest . I sat there for a while and heard and seen nothing . I laid back down and went back to sleep. I guess you are probably thinking that I slapped or hit or whatever my own chest in my sleep . You may be right . But that morning when I woke up the corner of my sheet was hanging from the chain of the ceiling fan in my room . Not tied , just kind of wrapped around it and staying put under its own weight. I looked at it for a while and then gave it a tug and it fell . Weird shit . |

Lived on a Civil War battlefield (Manassas) for 30 years. We had a deed recorded slave cemetery on the property. One of the previous owners of the property was an old spinster whose husband had left her because she could not birth living children. Around the corner was a road where three teen boys had been hung for stealing. Not a peep. Quiet as…well…the dead. |

I have a 150 year old house in Maine and there have been several tragic deaths on the property with former owners. Both myself and my brother in law have had our names called out when no one else was there. Weird stuff like lights and TV's turning off on their own are a normal occurrence despite modernized wiring. Most convincing to me was one time when the house had been closed for several months and I just decided to google search a former owner from the early 1900's at random. The very moment I pulled up documentation on her, a cabinet she kept items in swung open and triggered a motion camera, making me think there is some connection between thinking about a deceased person and having something supernatural happen. |

I'm going to have to add an encounter we've been having. The house we're in.. the previous owner died here. In one area of the house, there is a persistent thing of us catching a dark shape out of the corner of our eyes.. slight movement, etc. Our dog tends to go to that area a lot. She also has alerted to that area, barking at 'nothing' over there, sometimes for long periods of time. I trust our dog's senses better than our own. I don't perceive anything evil or bad in all this. Just that there's something there. We have had the house blessed. There are crosses on the wall in every room. It's just not my favorite part of the house, either, although I can't put my finger on why I don't like to be there for any length of time. So take that for what it's worth. |

I'm a man of science and didn't believe any of this nonsense till some of this nonsense happened to me. The universe is big and weird and wild and we are foolish to assume we know everything. Hell throw on some NODs and see that there's a whole world of light just beyond what we can regularly see. This is also true for sounds we can't hear. Not a far stretch to assume we're living with and surrounded by things/creatures/entities/spirits/whatever just beyond our current grasp of observation. |

I have lived for almost 30 years next to a old indian graveyard. Never had anything weird happen. Now my closest neighbor who was further away from it claims that when he dug some footings for a deck he saw and heard an young indian (feather) girl singing in a strange language next to one of the holes late at night. He said she seemed to be wearing a buckskin dress. |
