I get that minor shit adds up like plastic straws on a camel's back but how fucking ignorant does one have to be to say more stressful than anytime in history.
. . . I understand that I may ignorant on how to punctuate the singular possesive of camel, I think that is correct lol |

I would say crossing North America in a covered wagon, searching for food and water, and constantly facing the threat of attack by indians or being eaten by a fucking grizzly bear may have been slightly more stressful. Both of these would beat ‘slow WiFi’, I think. |

Similar whining came up during a holiday family function.
It went on between four Millennial family members for 15 minutes. I finally got up a said they should all go over and talk to Grandpa. At age 19 Grandpa was dodging Japanese kamikazes aboard the USS Enterprise. Grandma went to sleep every night with an AA gun on the apartment roof wondering if Grandpa was still alive. The whole room went silent. |

Washing dishes is stressful? Paying bills? Well yeah I suppose if you’re broke but do they think older people were all loaded or something? Have they ever heard of the Great Depression? I know I’m old but a lot of young people are tarded they’ve proved the opposite with that list and don’t even realise it. I’m sure this guy was more worried about what to wear then feeding and homing his fucking family. https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/398238/1EB4F33C-BC25-4511-A1CB-887FCF0288F4_jpeg-883092.JPG |

I'm barely a millennial and I am stressed out, just not about those things......
I'm note stressed out about people trying taking my rights away everyday, keeping up with every changing laws made just to screw you over. I'm stressed out about the fact that someone can red flag me about anything what so ever and there is no recourse. I'm also stressed out on retirement planning for both me and my parrent. But yeah slow wifi can be pretty annoying. |
|
I will say this. For every gimmick that has made life easier there has been some asshole who said "well since you got that you can now do this and this and this....". I hate new shit because it means I wil lget more work put on me.
And I miss the days when you had to take my money FROM ME, and not from the ether |

Indians for the most part had the good sense to take protection money and just take a few scalps here and there to let the settlers know they were serious. |
The things on that list are nothing more than minor annoyances for me. Maybe losing a wallet depending on the circumstances but still, that's pretty trivial in the grand scheme of things. Having your 1 year old on life support and medivac'd, your mom having a heart attack and almost dying, that's the kind of things that stress me out. Doing the dishes? Bitch please

None of those things are stressful, just a minor inconvenience caused by lack of foresight. ETA: I see this isn't a real study, but I'm off to make fun of the younger coworkers regardless. |

I've often wondered why we bitch at millennials for not doing the chores we grew up doing. After all we invented the machines to do them for us. Dishwashers, lawnmower, clothes washer dryer, cars, grocery stores (no need to grow or hunt). And now that we have grocery stores you do not need to hunt. Hunting is illegal except during these times. Otherwise go to Bob and work for him to get money. Then go to the grocery store to buy food. Well you can fish. But go to work for Bob and pay your taxes to get a license to fish........ First amendment being applied here but you may want to read Ted Kaczynski sometime. ETA: his ideas on how technology has restricted us is pretty spot on. |
They should have a theme song.

Some things on that list suck, but compared to riding a slave ship, being a French Jew in 1942, a college professor under Pol Pot, etc? and in Asia... A lot of things in life are really about attitude and being "out of sight...out of mind". Most people don't even concern themselves where they or their loved ones will spend eternity...which time wise isn't even a drop in the bucket. |
