| If kel tec ever decides to actually just increase quality of materials by about 40% they would be in a completely different tier. Their r&d and designs are some of the most unique and interesting in the market. If only there quality matches they would be amazing. |

As a sort of survival/last-ditch backup gun it has an appeal. No detachable magazine that could be lost in an accident or under stress. Not having a fresh source of the strippers would be a problem but I assume it single loads like an SKS or Garand fine, just slow. I don’t think it’s going to be useful getting most state bans though. Either the fixed internal mag with a “large” capacity is already banned (which accounts for the big markets already) or they have state legislatures that will codify a fix super fast. |

| Though I have some concerns about how some malfunctions could be safely handled with that type of gun, I would get one if they made a version of it that was compliant in my state of residence. Unfortunately, I don't believe that the fixed (high capacity) box mag would be compliant with our current laws. |

Sure, but then they would have to increase prices and not sell as many guns. The R&D budget would get axed and development would stagnate. Pretty soon they would be Glock, just keep selling the same thing in different calibers. Who needs stagnation? |
