Dirt cheap for a bus. The cheapest Gillig bus is probably double that. And it is too bad they didn't go with an established and proven bus manufacture like Gillig. Their buses would still be on the road. |

Proterra had their east coast operation in Greenville, SC. What a shitty, woke company they were. We lost some halfway decent engineers to them, who eventually came to regret their decision to jump to that sinking ship. It was an obvious scam long before the bankruptcy. Their test buses used to drive around the local roads a lot, and then end up being towed back to base by a heavy wrecker. Hopefully they don't bounce back this time. This government propped EV bus nonsense needs to die decisively! |
