I remember reading an article by some Media military "expert" during the run-up to the Gulf War which predicted the F-117s would fail to penetrate Iraqi air defenses. He also said the "unreliable" Tomahawks would miss their targets.
In retrospect it was ridiculous but the Media were in full "STOP THE WARMONGER BUSH NO BLOOD FOR OIL!!" mode at that point and weren't thinking logically. |
