Right now I'm looking at making cider for the wife, and have a mind full of fuck after all the reading, so it would be nice to ask some possibly supid questions while getting the usual arfcom ridicule followed up by the real answer. i.e. I'm wondering if I can add sugar to my store bought cider to get the OG up to 1.060, add Nottingham yeast, only let if ferment for a couple days, let's say down to 1.010 or 1.020, then cold crash it. Seems like an awful lot of work to populate a forum with data, a FAQ, common links, resources, etc. when it only comes up on GD maybe once or twice a month.
I'm not saying it's a bad idea, just that I hardly have time to brew, much less contribute a whole lot. I'll help out, but I can't promise a lot of help is all. |

It's not about once or twice a month....it's a resource. It's a manual, documentation, and a place to ask about it. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire forum, as a whole, gets 500 posts in a year....but 2,000,000 reads. |
