I'm very flattered. Keep in mind when you pour the epoxy into the well, and shove the buffer tube in, the epoxy is going to try to seep out the sides between each brick. Have a rag handy. Once it dries, you can chip it off w/ your fingernail. I can't thank you enough for your hours of work on this. There's a tear, but I think it's just from the Texas spring pollen.
What epoxy do you plan on using? You'll want to smear some on the underside of the buffer tube, but not past the front of the stock. Mind giving us some before pictures, looking down the buffer tube well @ the reinforcing rods? |

I was planning on covering the seams between the bricks with electrical tape to prevent runs. I ended-up with a ~1/32" gap between the upper and lower parts, so I want to let the epoxy fill the gap and dry neatly with the tape around it. I'm already in bed here, about to go crash, but I'll get a bunch more pictures for you before I do anything tomorrow. |

Was the gap from the super glue, or just tolerance stacking? It was very frustrating when I started this 2 years ago, and started going onto Lego forums, and no one knew a damn thing about gluing these together. |

How have you been, tickers? That is such good news.  Agreed! I've missed having my own place SO much. Hadn't had one since I was 20. How have you been? I'm working a later shift again, so I'm staying up late and can post in here more often
