I’m seriously considering a Smith and Wesson Competitor as my next carry gun project. I just like big, heavy pistols packed full of 9mm. Here’s my Pro X, which I do carry. I love this thing.  My current project is a one-in-3.5mil Sig 320 build. Nothing else like it exists. |

Felt good in the hand and a decent trigger. Im big on 1911s but this was pretty good for a striker fired gun. I had a Walther PDP compact and I got rid of it. The slide release was too prominent and got in the way even with the large backstrap. |

A "range gun" in my mind is one that is used almost solely for target and competition shooting and is not really intended for daily concealed carry. Grip texture is a little aggressive on the front of the grip if you dont shoot with gloves. I want to work on that. But it shoots very well and I like it as well as my PPQ Match at combat ranges. |
| If you shoot thumbs forward on the frame you’ll go mad trying to shoot a PDP. I hate Sig’s and the HK VP for the same reason. I want to grab the frame, not curl my thumb with a tea cup grip like some wine cooler drinking queer from 1972 trying to avoid a poorly placed slide stop. |
