But it seems well made, although fitting was a bit time consuming Have fun. Did about 500 miles on mine Saturday and had a blast. Back was a little sore for about an hour everything else was good to go. You can't load them up like a pack mule but the Speedie will chew up miles just fine in reasonable comfort. |

Upon returning to the UK, please be certain to check your tank bag and panniers for any economic refugees attempting to stow away.
Safe trip and looking forward to the battlefield photos. EDIT: just returned from a month in Germany-stan. While I always felt safe anywhere in Germany in the past, that has changed. Specifically: highway rest-stops. Like the USA, I now notice lots of seedy characters sneaking around European rest stops. Witnessed German plain-clothed police busting a couple in a French car for drugs (perp had small zip lock bag hidden in his sock. Heroin?). Noticed discarded ladies handbag in rest stop trash can (common after a purse snatching). Noticed abandoned car with Romanian plates (probably a smuggler's throw away car). Be careful along the highway. |
