From towing a camper, to sleeping in your truck, to pitching a tent. Some guys will spend the night in a hotel but most don't. You should not have any further expenses while at the event. Portojohns are there for waste, and you get fed at least 3 square meals a day. This event uses the Big Chungus Slop Wagon. 50 ammo is included in your fee, your pistol and regular rifle ammo needs to be brought by you. We MAY have time for open range, but do not go firing guns at random. I cannot believe i have to say this, but we're talking on the internet. Do not drink and handle firearms. Pretty much, show up, don't be a dick, provide for yourself, be polite and have a good time |

Open range usually is going to happen if you arrive early or stay late. The meat of the event is running competitors, so there's no time. If you're early and no one is there, then no one is there. Great. Take your 600yd shot you were curious about after staff says range clear. If everyone is done and goes home and a couple guys just aren't ready to pack it in, hang with them. I'm sure it'll be cool. But you will probably get roped in to set up or take down in either scenario. Put simply, the guys that help out get the best experiences. |
