Legalizing murder of innocent people is horrible and even if the article is BS, we know Canada is doing it and it should be stopped. If you can't do it yourself, things aren't that bad. Nobody is legalizing murder. This issue is about whether doctors should be prosecuted for providing the syringe full of morphine to people who've just got suffering left, and where the limits of that discretion lie. It's a consequence of government controlling access to the relevant medications. The interesting thing about this sort of BS rage porn isn't that people believe it, or even how much they want to believe it, but that the purveyors know their audience's grip on reality is so tenuous, their narrative so flawed and desperate for confirmation that they know they can make money this way. They systematically exploit the weaknesses inherent in a dogmatic world view by selling you lies that allow you to rationalize the lies you've already bought. It's a hell of a business model really. |

Especially since there isn’t a single instance I’ve seen of somebody being “forcibly” euthanized against their will, as the article contends, or any age group I would define as “children”. |
