I see someone was marking their parking spot with lawn chairs...if it were me, they'd be pulling what's left of their chairs out from under my bumpers ![]() That shit dont fly in Chicago, I bet you'd only do it once. One of the best stories Ive heard about people moving the chairs for "reserved spaces" is when a motorist moved those out of the way and parking in the spot, the person who reserved it drug his garden hose out and sprayed the car with water until it had a good inch of ice buildup on it. |

My son was shoveling walks for some spending cash when he was 10 years old or so. Welfare scum refused to pay him, so he called the police. Officer explained that she had to be sued as it was a civil matter. My son was bummed that he had cleaned the walk and salted it for free.
Cop saw how bummed he was and told my son that the two of them could shovel the snow back onto her walk though. They did more or less what the Chicagoan did. The pair of them buried her steps and walk. |
I have a 10 horsepower Ariens two stage snow blower because of an old neighbor. The bastard would shovel the snow from the back of his truck and throw it behind mine, causing me to have to shovel twice the snow to get my truck out. The bad thing was that it would have been just as easy for him to toss the snow onto his lawn, but NO; he thought it was funny to fuck with me (we didn't get along even on a good day... ).
Suffice to say that his truck got buried a few times like in the video. I would blow every flake of snow within range onto it. I even did his sidewalk once being careful to aim the snow at his front door. When he confronted me about it, I gave him two choices; he could either stop being a dick with the snow, or buy a bigger snow blower than mine. He stopped and so did I. |

Quoted: Join date Feb 2010 That happens all the time around here. Stealing someone's snow shovel is a very serious thing. Some of our snow shovels are prized family heirlooms. In fact, vintage snow shovels are traded and collected around here. I can hardly wait for the next Snow Shovel Show. In these parts, shovel-thieves get bludgeoned with frozen bags of milk. I recently bought the wife a very special ice chopper for her birthday. First you shovel the snow and then you scrape and chop away at the remaining ice. The remaining ice is broken up into miniature icebergs and then shoveled away. Anyway, Crabby's ice chopper is mad of the finest forged high carbon Swedish steel. It was the best birthday present that she's ever had. And she would be might angry if another woman were to steal it. Fluffy ![]() |

Obviously satire is beyond you... |

In the old days stolen parking spots in NY would get a door key slot opened with a toothpick and filled with water. Probably wouldn't work with electic lock fobs nowadays. Guess they'll just have to build a snow dam around the tires and fill it with water from now on then. |

Quoted: Quoted: I've read some vicious stories about parking in Chicago. Guy did the right thing without being too vindictive, but the bitch should get a visit from the man for theft. according to the reporter, she "borrowed" it. I caught that also, Must be a progressive reporter! |

Quoted: A video on Youtube made right here in Chicago has gotten more than 100,000 hits over the weekend. It\'s based on a woman who steal a snow shovel during that grammer from chicago.. and a company website.. not just a blog type site... is just sad It is "grammar" and Chicago is a proper noun so you capitalize it. |
Priceless!
