Do you have a favorite poor out of that beautiful bunch? The PVW 20 and Michter's 20 are insanely good pours. Just great bourbons that you can pour and say 'wow'. I also enjoy the Sazerac 18 and the Van Winkle Rye - it's hard for me to compare them and say I like one over the other. The barrel proof stuff is always great, such as the Stagg and Weller bourbons up top - and even the Macallan Cask Strength in the bottom corner - but they require a little more time and some water to mess with so I generally don't go for them first when I want a 'special pour'. Everything on the shelves is there because I've found it to be exceptional in its own way and I may crave one over the other for a different occasion or reason. |
