I don't know how much gas I transferred to people from those cans to fill generators and gas cans but it was a lot. I can't speak for anyone else's experience but these are the only ones I'll buy. |

As a temp option I got a Jerry can from Habor Freight lol.
Jerry Can I know it's not the best, but I just wanted 10 gallons of gas at the min stored up in case we need some depending on where Irma goes. I am going to order the 4 pack from Deutsche Optik in the next couple of weeks. If I am carrying Jerry cans on my 4Runner, will the DO ones be ok? And by OK am I risking some dumbass officer stopping me saying they aren't CARB legal. |

Just as a follow up, I spoke to both Wavian USA and Atlantic British today and confirmed that Atlantic British's Jerry Cans are indeed Wavians. They don't use other cans, so any order will receive real Wavians made to the same specs. Quoted:

Stopped by a Tractor Supply and grabbed a couple of the EZ Pour spouts as suggested and tossed the spring loaded ones that come with the cans. No complaints, been using them since Sat. Going to buy a few more when they get more in. 20% off coupon makes them $32. |

i like these. started using them to store e85 for a tuned turbo car. also store a bit if it appears that it might be a bit hard to come by due to hurricanes or pipeline breaks.
i can get 2 in the back of a small hatchback. i also have scepter and some standard 5 gallon jugs. i like the drums as i have a pump and dont have to lift the 5 gallon can up and slowly poor gas into the tank. the hand pump is as fast as a service station pump. if i was really into this sort of stuff i would get a pickup with an auxiliary tank. 4 of these stores 60 gallons and thats more than enough for me for a pretty long period of time. its not as portable as 5 gallon cans but like i said i can get two (plus a couple of 5 gallon jugs) in a small hatchback. thats 40 gallons...

Perhaps Border Patrol on the Canada side MIGHT pay attention if you were driving them back in the country. |

Yes they are. I have purchased some the 10 liter scepters from Lexington Container a few years ago. Very happy. They are great people too. I was there yesterday.

Before that I bought the VP Racing Jugs. I think I had six of them. Two came apart at the seams and were replaced under warranty. Still have them empty somewhere..... Should have sold them last week.

I have a couple of the Atlantic British ones. I love them. They work. Only issue is not losing the filler attachment, as it tends to pop out of the plastic holder on the top of the can.
I will never buy another of those motherfucking, cock licking, semen gargling, donkey-ball sniffing epa plastic jugs. |

That used to be my take on them. Until a hot day and opening a can shot a huge cloud/amount of gas 4-5 foot. Now I jamb the nozzle in the can and when it clicks off, I call that good. I am not sure why they did that. Was it hot? Yes. Was it completely full? Yes. Was it oxygenated gas? Don't know. I do know that any spark and I would have been a dipshit roman candle. You all could help me with the questions because I'd like to fill them all the way up. Maybe it was the vent doing it. My oldest can is dated 1956 or 54 and seals tight. So these cans are life time almost buys if you take care of them. Contrast that with those piece of shit plastic epa fucktard jugs that really need crammed up some jackass commies backside. |

| I have a couple of those. They say not for long term storage. I have them filled and am testing them out. The thing I like about them is, you can easily pour gas from Jerry cans into them and then fuel modern vehicles with the small gas tank hole. |
