as a newer member, I have noticed alot of the replies posted above and got to read the "Balding, Disengage, Dump" Wal-Mart thread. This thread has cleared up some things for me.
I would also like to add "Check to see if your dog is alive" origins unknown. When anyone asks a medical question there is the usual "Your gonns die" reply "Dips on your guns", "Dips on your ammo" |

The thread originally titled "I just siihpapp" or something like that, went 4 or 5 pages of IBTLs and he finally edited it to "The Range Report" and took down the pics. Everyone who quoted him edited the links to the pics and the whole thing was covered up before any mods or staff saw it. The thread was never locked as far as I know Hows that? |

I wasn't around for him so anything I author would be a disservice to him. _MaH Eric the Hun aka Wayne Cobb. Let me begin by stating that I hope to be half the man ETH was. I had the great pleasure of meeting ETH at his family's farm near the Pease River in central Texas. He graciously hosted several of these ARFcom get togethers that included a greta deal of shooting, a great deal of drinking (after the line was cold), and general asshattery. Wayne and his beloved Beagle, Scooter held court in the bunkhouse where he made his world famous Windex Margaritas.
He never met a stranger, he treated everyone as life-long friend and was willing to give you the shirt off of his back. Several of us (DFW crew and others) got together and put together an AR in DeWalt yellow, presented to him at a Hun Farm Shoot in a DeWalt toolbox. It was the first time I had seen Wayne speechless. He was a prolific poster here with well over 10k posts and was a thoughtful voice of reason in the midst of the insanity in GD. He always signed off his posts with a witty and salient missive in the midst of his moniker. (see below for a poor imitation). Wiggy (missing my friend) 762 It was one of the darkest days here when his brother informed us all that Wayne had succumbed to a massive heart attack and had died. |
