We have tried to get somewhat more organized with our little gang of miscreants. People have lives and other obligations, it can be tough. My advice (FWIW), keep it loose and informal. Just say "hey y'all Friday night at 2000hrs behind the Wendy's dumpster" and whoever shows up, shows up. |

To be clear the training tge mentioned was a rifle and pistol class. It wasn't a hike like what the Op mentioned.
However since he put my name on blast  I've received several IMs and mentions in this thread with people being interested. let me see if I can try to organize something somewhere. Perhaps Lake Ray Roberts. I might wait until after the holidays given that everyone is probably pretty busy between now and then. That will give me some time to organize an event.
