Quoted: Wanted to finish this week on a high note and decided to see how many sets of 30 I could knock out today. Started out with one and felt good, so snagged another set of 30, followed by another. By the time I finished this morning’s session I called it good with 5x30. Tossed in another 4x25 this evening for a daily total of 250. MTD- 3020 YTD- 5290 Feeling accomplished with those sets of 30, definitely looking forward to a couple days off. It’s looking like sets of 30 are here to stay. Got an early start this morning and was able to go 8x30 for a total of 240 on the day. MTD- 3260 YTD- 5530 I’m thinking it might be time to chase a new personal best sometime this week. ![]() |

Quoted: Started my morning with a set of 60. Pretty that is the best set of my life...I don't remember ever doing 60 in one set, even when I was young. Did another 40, and now with 100 done its time for work. To be continued. Nicely done! I’ve got one more set of 30 in me before heading out to work, that will put me at 120 so far. |

Quoted: A few minjtes to burn between errands. I wanted to see if I could get 200 pushups done in 5 minutes. I set my EMOM timer for every minute and planned on doing sets of 40. The sets were 40, 40, 50, 50, 70. I can typically get 40 good push-ups in in about 30 seconds. I wanted to save some for the last few. Then, went for it and kept adding... Woke up and noted that i am consistently down 15 lbs YTD...and much tighter in general. Knocked out a couple of sets and went to work content. Did my nightly routine and again was content with where I landed for the day. Then...thanks to Crusty...I decided to download an interval timer and play around with that. Set it up for 3 minute rests between sets with a 1 minute workout period. Did another five sets screwing around with that and got to 725 when all was said and done. Will do my entire workout tomorrow using the timer. Nice to be able to close my eyes and truly rest in between sets. Thanks for the idea @CrustyKayak 20,260 YTD |

Quoted: Much like @macro I got pulled a bunch of different ways this evening and just couldn’t find my groove. Ended the day at 150. MTD- 3410 YTD- 5680 Personal best has been set. Went into this evening with 10x30 and had some free time after dinner to chase down some big boy numbers. Went another 2x30 before dropping down to sets of 20. Added another 7x20 shortly after. I was feeling a bit ambitious and decided to go to failure. Got to rep 15 on the next set of 20 and my arms called it quits. Total for today is 515, well above my previous personal best of 345. MTD- 3925 YTD- 6195 @macro @CrustyKayak |

Congrats /media/mediaFiles/sharedAlbum/4ytTin0-761.gif Thank you and everyone one else in this thread for posting high rep counts. It’s kept me going and motivated. I’m already looking forward to beating 515! |

Well damn, this is the first time I've seen this thread. I took a little break from the internet to start off the new year and just saw this pop up, glad to see the boys still getting it on. I managed 207K last year with the help of the 2023 thread, it was a good ride. This year I backing it down to 500 a day, a much easier number to hit. My routine is to knock 10 sets of 25 before I leave the house in the morning and another 10 sets throughout the day, whenever I can get them in. Tagged, thanks OP for getting me back on track. |

Quoted: So I have been playing with the spreadsheet I built to track my progress....and decided to start seeing how we are trending as a group. Some folks have been posting their YTD values just about daily, so those were easy to grab. According to the poll, 130 folks have committed to doing at least 100 per week, although only a small fraction of those folks are posting regularly. I went back over the last several days and jotted down the last YTD total for anyone that posted it. Will try to periodically post some stats as the year goes on. Hopefully more folks will chime in from time to time and share their YTD totals as well. For now, the following members have put up 86,305 reps YTD and counting... @CrustyKayak @M4ger @4FishLimit @HiPower1935 @PrincipsPistol @Hill_monkey @Ohiogators @HighpowerRifleBrony /media/mediaFiles/sharedAlbum/toast_gif-994.gif |
