Edit- Get this instead Samsung Odyssey G50SF I wasn't expecting to make the jump to OLED, but it was too good of a deal to pass up. There aren't many reviews, but those I find claim the screen quality is excellent; with just the overall build being on the budget side and the refresh rate "only" being 180hz. Now the monitor comes with a copy of RE9, essentially making it $280 if you were planning to buy the game already I also learned that Samsung has an app that allows you to control your monitor from USB, so if the physical button breaks, you can still make it work. |

Dell has a new Alienware budget OLED that makes this Samsung model obsolete. $350 240hz, great anti-reflective glossy screen, an adjustable stand. Dell is also supposed to have great customer support. I'm not sure if it's still available, but dell had a new member promotion of off 10% on your first order, and $25 in rewards points. Rakuten has a pretty nice 6% cashback on Dell, which might go up to 15% starting May 4th. If you've never used Rakuten, you can get $50 cashback on your first $50 spent in 90 days with a friend referral code, and the person that refers you also gets $50. With the 10% discount and Rakuten, I was able to snag the monitor for basically $265 pre tax. |
