The Radical Defense KFMs were designed around an agency requirement to reduce visible flash signature by 90% over a standard A2.

[From left to original Radical Defense KFM, (black Melonited/QPQ - just like gun barrels) threaded in 1/2x28 with a .30 caliber exit hole for a wide variety of applications. $70

The never released Radical Defense "Sandcutter" flash hider that was specifically designed to meet the requirements of the Original KFM while reducing the "signature ring" that manufacturers have to deal with when designing a flash hider. This one is in TiN. Threaded 1/2x28 with an exit hole only cut to .223/5.56 $100

The last two are Radical Defense KFMs, in (TiN Titanium Nitride/ Gold Coating) that are both threaded 5/8x24 for large bore applications and are cut with an exit hole at .30 caliber. $90
